Smile Today Dental offers professional teeth whitening in Park Ridge, Illinois, for a quick, inexpensive smile upgrade. Instead of substandard whitening products you find in your nearest drugstore, Drs. Evelyn Kidonakis and Jinyoung “Anny” Yoo use medical-grade teeth bleaching products. Whether your teeth have become yellow or stained from tobacco use, coffee, wine, or poor oral hygiene, our teeth whitening can restore your smile’s natural brightness.
In the day of rising social media, we all love a photo-ready smile. Unfortunately, your everyday lifestyle can rob your smile of its vibrancy. One of the main causes of tooth discoloration is the foods and drinks we consume. Foods like sodas, wine, coffee, and dark berries contain pigments that easily embed in the enamel, causing it to change from white to yellow or brown.
Other offenders of tooth discoloration include:
Teeth whitening can only do so much when you have deep, intrinsic discoloration. In such cases, our cosmetic team will complement your treatment with dental bonding or veneers.
Our office has in-office and at-home teeth whitening solutions to brighten your smile. Both procedures are safe, effective, and long-lasting. For optimal effects, we recommend professional cleaning to remove built-in plaque and tartar.
Once you achieve the desired smile, there’s still work to do. To maintain the teeth whitening results, brush and floss your teeth daily. Also, avoid tooth-staining substances like coffee and wine. If you must take them, use a straw or rinse your mouth immediately after consumption.
Having an impeccable smile can impact how we feel about ourselves and how others feel about us. A beautiful smile boosts confidence and makes us approachable and inviting to others. One way to achieve a confident-looking smile is through professional teeth whitening.
The other benefits of teeth whitening include the following:
